With over 65 years of combined experience in the field of early childhood education QS2 prides itself in preparing hundreds of successful CDA candidates, preparing both center based programs and family child care providers in successfully achieving NAEYC and NAFCC Accreditation, mentoring Head Start programs in federally mandated Performance Standards, producing the first National Administrator Credential course graduates in New York State, and proud to serve as observers, technical assistance providers, and workshop presenters with Quality Stars New York.

Our Workshops

QS2 offers an extensive range of training covering all aspects of early care and education. Our staff and program development workshops are customized to meet the needs of child care center staff, family and group family providers, school age child care staff, as well as home visitors. The array of staff development opportunities can be suitable for people new to the field as well as for the seasoned director or long time business owner. QS2 strives to deliver training in a hands-on and meaningful atmosphere and to accommodate all types of learners. Professional development opportunities include face to face training in a mixed group setting, on-site training customized to meet your program's needs and requirements, consultation, technical assistance and mentoring delivered on-site and on-line training. All of our workshops meet the training requirements of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services as well as the New York State Core of Body Knowledge Competency Areas.

Our Staff

Every member of our staff has an extensive education and supplemental training in the field of Early Child Care and Education. At QS2 we pride ourselves in our commitment to ongoing continuous education. All of our trainers attend workshops, conferences, webinars, and train-the-trainer series given across the country in an effort to stay current and up-to-date in research and topics that impact our field. We each have a broad background of additional experience in adjacent complementary fields that gives us a unique insight into the needs of child care providers whether home or center based.

Website Design Services For Early Childhood Programs

QS2 now offers web design and maintenance services specific to Early Childhood Programs. If you are in need of a website or your old site needs updating we offer the services of our in-house webmaster. He has been creating and maintaining websites since the late 1980's and knows what works and what doesn't. He is available for free consultation to discuss the issues you may be facing in providing a visually attractive web presence. His goal is simple, clear, and concise. Commercial web design software is not used. He personally handcrafts html code in a text editor so you get a customized website, not some theme from a software package that thousands of other people are using. He will work with you to create your own personalized theme and images.
